Brushes with the Paranormal—UFO’s

•August 27, 2008 • 2 Comments

I should start this topic off by saying the Irish have always believed that the veil that separates this world from the next is very very thin. They respect those that have “the sight,” and they tell stories about the “little people.” Maybe I owe my willingness to believe in the paranormal to my Irish heritage, I dont know. All I know is, I do believe.

Yes, Im broaching the topic of the paranormal, a risky topic under the best of circumstances, but a positively suicidal one for a fledgling blogger. Be that as it may, I am plunging ahead full bore with anecdotes from various sources, some personal, some gleaned from national/international material. I know that most folks dont give a good Goddamn about this topic, however most foks wont click on the title either. I figure if yer here in the first place, its because you secretly believe just like I do. Ok. Prepare to suspend your disbelief.

I’ll start off with an event that happened after my sister and I came home from a lengthy field trip. We had just arrived by bus back to our schoolgrounds, and our parents were all there waiting to pick us up. It was mid to late afternoon. We attended a school in the Bay Area (In Pinole, for those who care) in the mid- to early- 60’s (yes, the height of the UFO sightings craze). As we were all loading up into our families’ cars, we spied a huge blimp-like object obscuring the sky. Of course, the adults all hustled us kids into our respective cars in a flat hurry, but the weird thing was, all the way down the winding road away from the school, that blimp-thing followed us. and as the sky got darker, all of a sudden, there appeared a “spotlight” that started out as an electric blue and eventually whitened to an electric white….both the spotlight, and the “blimp” followed us (all) away from the schoolyard. My mother was a passenger in the car and got a real good bird’s eye view of this thing, and when she described it to me years later for a college writing assignment, I got goosebumps. I remembered the main incident but not the details she knew because I was in the backseat and clueless until the blimp thing changed position and I could see it outside my window. Anyway, long story short, the thing followed us for quite awhile, but eventually stopped and disappeared almost immediately. just flew off vertical. poof. The next day, the police scanners and tv news stations were full of sightings, and of course the official story was “weather balloon”. I knew better, and so did my folks. we saw a freakin UFO. and to this day I hate getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. More mind benders later.

by the way, I DID try and research similar occurances via the web, but nothing came up. I suppose because there was no internet back then and maybe no one else thought to publish the story?? I’ll keep trying, tho.

in future posts, Im going to introduce bigfoot, lochness monster/permutations. ufo’s, alien dna, underground utopias/mountain labyrinths, etc etc.

See? Im not the only one who thinks Obama blew it…

The Obama-Not Hillary Ticket

By Dick Morris
It doesn’t take a political genius to realize that Barack Obama needed to nominate a woman for vice president. Obama’s key problem is that there is no gender gap. In the most recent Zogby poll, he runs only 2 points better among women than among men. A Democrat should be running 10 to 15 points better among women.

If Obama is to have a hope of winning, he needs to improve his performance among female voters. The Fox News poll indicates that only about half of those who backed Hillary Clinton in the primaries are voting for Obama and that fully one in five is now planning to back McCain. Attractive to women voters because of his maverick positions on issues and his willingness to defy the Republican orthodoxy, McCain is garnering votes from women who should be part of Obama’s core constituency.

So why didn’t Obama name a woman? He couldn’t nominate Hillary because she came with such baggage that he’d be spending his entire campaign swatting away charges directed at the Clintons. It would be priceless to see Obama trying to justify Bill’s refusal to publish the names of the donors to his library or to explain what Bill is doing in Dubai and Kazakhstan.

But what about Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius? While not a national figure, she is attractive and articulate, and would have made a fine candidate. But Obama was terrified that the Clintons would wreck vengeance if he named a woman other than Hillary. But it was all a bluff.

Hillary’s delegates would have celebrated the selection of a woman and would not have held it against Obama that it was someone other than Hillary. Hillary, for her part, would have had to grit her teeth and support Sebelius or risk alienating her core constituency. But Obama didn’t dare do what he needed to do. He wimped out.

The fact that Barack Obama named Joe Biden as his vice presidential candidate will have relatively little impact on the strategic framework of the race. Biden was the best of the names on Obama’s short list. His experience in foreign affairs, his tough advocacy of the Democratic agenda and his skill at handling himself will all help Obama’s campaign, but not decisively. The other options were worse. Tim Kaine, governor of Virginia, had as little experience as Obama. Evan Bayh, senator from Indiana, is way too soft spoken and mild for a rough and tumble campaign.

But the most important thing is that Obama did not choose a woman. He needed one. With Hillary’s evident availability for the nomination, his failure to name her or some other woman stands out starkly to women voters. It doesn’t matter to them that he chose Biden over Bayh or Kaine. What matters is that he did not choose Hillary or another woman.

Now, John McCain can take advantage of Obama’s blunder by coming back with a woman nominee for president. Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison would be an excellent choice. She’s been around for decades and is not going to start making mistakes now. Her nomination would be a signal to American women that McCain takes their aspirations seriously, even if Obama does not. Hutchison is not charismatic. But her circumstances would be if she were nominated. The prospect of a woman vice president would electrify women throughout the nation.

I have previously written about the advantages of Joe Lieberman for vice president. His nomination would send a signal of bipartisanship that would be notable and would hasten Democratic defections. But conservatives would be horrified by the choice of Lieberman. And Obama’s failure to nominate a woman is such a glaring misstep that McCain should pounce and take advantage of it.

The ticket will nominally be Obama-Biden. But, to millions of American women it will be Obama and not Hillary.

Also, another article I read says that Hillary plans to give her delegates to Obama on Wed, however many of them will not vote for Obama:

A Democratic official told The Associated Press Sunday, a day before the convention begins, that she is expected to release her delegates at the Wednesday event. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to discuss details publicly.

Asked about Clinton’s plans for the event, her spokesman Philippe Reines said it will be “an opportunity for Senator Clinton to see her delegates — many for the first time since the primaries ended, thank them for their hard work and support, and most importantly to encourage them to support and work for Senator Obama as strongly as she has in order to elect him in November.”

The New York senator has support among key voting groups that Obama has yet to win over, particularly women, older voters, and working-class voters.

Coming into the convention, many Democrats have wondered exactly how and when Clinton would throw her delegates to Obama, and if that would be a messy, contentious affair.

Some Clinton delegates still plan to vote for her at the convention, even if she releases them.

“This is much bigger than Hillary,” said Pam Durham, a Clinton delegate from Fort Worth, Texas. “I have a responsibility. I do not own my vote. I have to represent the voters who sent me.”

Pat Bakalian, a Clinton delegate from Santa Cruz, Calif., agreed. She said she came to Denver to vote for Clinton, “and it’s what I’m going to do.”

who knows? If Obama is vulnerable because of his citizenship, maybe Hillary would yet have a chance…

Effing Obama.

Well, he’s done it. he’s picked his VP running mate, and its Joe Biden. The same Joe Biden that trashed Obama awhile back by saying he’s not ready to lead. That right there tells me Obama’s loony, but even worse, he had a golden opportunity to pick a WOMAN for this historic candidacy, and what does he do? Yep, he blithely discounts the hundreds of thousands of voters who were solidly behind Hillary, and who were hoping he’d choose her as his VP.

While doing a random blog search this morning, I came across some sites that indicate there is a real groundswell of discontent over Obama, and some have even raised the notion of Hillary un-suspending her campaign and re-announcing her candidacy! Apparently in July alone, 15 Obama delegates switched to Hillary! Now this is something the media isnt talking about..why? because it has already bought into the notion that Obama secured the nomination.

Then there is Cristi Adkins, whose Mission Nobama site is urging folks to help stop the Obama Juggernaut. A quick rundown of some of the links provided show me Im not alone in my discontent over Obama by a long shot! In fact, an Attorney in PA, Phil Berg, has filed an injunction to block Obama as the Democratic nominee, alleging that he is not a US citizen! An excerpt from the complaint:

The complaint is asking for declaratory relief (asking the court to declare Obama is not a US citizen, a “natural born” citizen and not eligible under the qualifications of the US Constitution to run for Office of President).

Also asking for injunctive relief and an emergency TRO. Further asking for EXPEDITED Discovery.

We are asking that Obama provide a “ceritified copy” of the oath he took to regain his citizenship. We are asking for court orders, ordering the state department, HI department of records and other governmental agencies to turn over any and everything on Obama, all certified.

WOO HOO! just found more stuff:

August 23, 2008 2:31 am (link)

Berg continued:“Eighteen million Democratic Primary voters donated money, volunteered their time and energy, worked very hard and then not only supported Senator Clinton, but voted for her and often recruited other supporters as well. All the efforts of supporters of legitimate citizens were for nothing because this man lied and cheated his way into a fraudulent candidacy and cheated legitimately eligible natural born citizens from competing in a fair process and the supporters of their citizen choice for the nomination.

Voters donated money, goods and services to elect a nominee and were defrauded by Senator Obama’s lies and obfuscations. He clearly shows a conscience of guilt by his actions in using the forged birth certificate and the lies he’s told to cover his loss of citizenship. We believe he does know, supported this belief by his actions in hiding his secret, in that he failed to regain his citizenship and used documents to further his position as a natural born citizen. We would also show he proclaims himself a Constitutional scholar and lecturer, but did not learn he had no eligibility to become President except by means of lying, obfuscations and deceptions. His very acts proves he knew he was no longer a natural born citizen. We believe he knew he was defrauding the country or else why use the forged birth certificate of his half sister?

Americans lost money, goods and services donated in their support of a candidate who supposedly was a natural born citizen simply because the DNC officers and party leaders looked the other way and did not demand credentials to answer the questions and prove whether or not Senator Obama was a legitimately natural born citizen, even in light of recent information that has surfaced on websites on the Internet suggesting Senator Obama may not be eligible to become President and questioning his status of multiple citizenships and questionable loyalties! If the DNC officers and.or leaders had performed one ounce of due diligence we would not find ourselves in this emergency predicament, one week away from making a person the nominee who has lost their citizenship as a child and failed to even perform the basic steps of regaining citizenship through an oath of allegiance at age eighteen [18] as prescribed by Constitutional laws!

The injunctrive relief must be granted because failing to do so, this inaction defrauds everyone who voted in the Democratic Primary for a nominee that is a fair representation of the voters. Failure to grant injunctive relief would allow a corrupted, fraudulent nomination process to continue. It not only allows, but promotes an overwhelming degree of disrespect and creates such a lack of confidence in voters of the primary process itself, so that it would cement a prevailing belief that no potential candidate has to obey the laws of this country, respect our election process, follow the Constitution, or even suffer any consequence for lying and defrauding voters to get onto the ballot when they have no chance of serving if they fraudulently manage to get elected! It is unfair to the country for candidates of either party to become the nominee when there is any question of their ability to serve if elected.

All judges are lawyers and held to a higher standard of practice than a regular lawyer. It is this Judicial standard that demands injunctive relief prayed for here. This relief is predicated upon one of the most basic premises of practicing law which states no lawyer can allow themselves to be used in furthering a criminal enterprise. And by that gauge alone, failing to give injunctive relief to the 18 million supporters of the other candidate, a true natural born citizen eligible to serve if elected, this court must not allow itself to be used to further the criminal and fraudulent acts to continue and be rewarded by becoming the Democratic Nominee. Failure to give the injunctive relief prayed for will insure that a corrupted Presidential election process will only guarantee a show of unfair preference of one group of people over another group by not demanding the same rules be applied to all groups equally and fairly, especially in light of the fact that both candidates are each considered a minority.

(This is actually bigger than I thought!!! So the Republicans sent an investigative team to Kenya eh? Used his half-sister’s birth cert to forge his own?? The plot thickens~ and for those who want to see more on this issue, go here)

I like Hillary, I think she would have done a great job as President. I was disappointed as anything when she bowed out, but I was hoping that Obama might salvage himself to all Hillary’s supporters by choosing her. I should have known better. Im not going to vote in this election. Wouldnt it be truly poetic justice if he loses by one vote? Better yet, I may vote and write Hillary’s name in. Me and hundreds of thousands of other Hillary supporters.

Anyway, Obama you Effing LOSER, you get yer very own SHIT PRESENT.

Weird Science: Weather Wars?

•August 23, 2008 • 2 Comments

I stumbled upon this topic while researching another, and it really grabbed my attention because well, its so off the wall, and improbable seeming, but apparently it IS real!!

Basically, in a nutshell, our weather is now being controlled by satellite (ie: created storms target select areas in what amounts to weather “terrorism”). Now, before you all roll yer eyes or navigate away, I want to say that I was as skeptical as you. I mean, really—thats taking paranoia to a whole new level isnt it? ISNT IT?

Maybe not. I found an article where a German meteorolgist is suing the government for illegally manipulating the weather—apparently thru the use of chemtrails (those white “tracks” in the sky left by jets at high altitudes) Im not sure exactly how the chemtrails affect the weather, but Jim McCanney believes that laser beams from satellites in space are responsible for weather that doesnt match the weatherman’s predictions (Katrina anyone?) his site is here. Another site compiles pretty damning evidence, among which is a US Congressional Resolution “To establish the Weather Modification Operations and Research Board,” an abstract:

Scientists, Weather Engineers and Space Specialists are working towards something that can change human civilization forever! It is the methods of artificial weather modification.

The process when perfected, can help in agriculture, getting rid of droughts, floods and avoid cyclones and typhoons.

It is also the process by which the enemy can be devastated, artificial floods, cyclones and typhoons created.

It can allow controlling the world economy and agricultural commodity markets.

In ancient religions and legends, weather control, creation of cyclone, rain, flood, drought were nothing new. In the modern age the Scientists and technologists are busy perfecting the weather control sciences. It is shaping up as the most vibrant area of research and development.

Many countries are mastering the science of weather control. As a matter of fact many experts predict that a war game is being played by major powers in the world to demonstrate their capabilities of weather control. Most of these initiatives are classified and shoved off from the public. The only way one can track these initiatives is to look at countries taking actions to shield against weather control experiments.

Recently, scientists and engineers have started unveiling the actual methods of weather control. Some primitive methods like Cloud-top seeding can confuse you and point you to a wrong direction. Cloud-top seeding is usually performed between the temperatures of -5°C and -10°C. The greatest amount of super-cooled liquid water is usually found within this range. This corresponds to an altitude range of 15,000 to 22,000 ft depending upon location. Dropping or ejecting silver iodide flares into the growing cloud turrets dispenses seeding agent. The seeding agent is placed into the super-cooled clouds where nucleation is desired, so the updrafts in these cases are relied upon only to provide a continuing source of condensate. This delivery technique requires less anticipation on the part of those directing the seeding operations and may have a more immediate effect.

The more modern methods involve artificial ionization of earth’s atmosphere between 15,000 and 30,000 ft. and above. Manipulating the ionosphere and use of controlled solar-terrestrial interactions can create much larger effects. Scientists are realizing that the earth’s weather is controlled by Sun’s natural Electromagnetic Radiation reaching the earth. The Sun’s Radiations and Ultraviolet Rays have to cross the ionosphere to reach the earth.

There are early indications that the solar radiations and flares are directly responsible for planetary weather changes. And Solar flares and levels of radiations are caused by bombardment of cosmic rays on the Sun from either a distant massive black hole or a star-cluster caused by the collapse of thousands and thousands of stars in a small space.

Computer models obviously focused on the ionosphere, which acts as a filter for the solar radiations to reach the earth. If one can manipulate and control the filter, it becomes a potential source of massive weather modification. That is what the computer simulation models found. Controlling the ionosphere potentially allows weather control. The algorithmic variation of ionosphere can create the magic in a massive scale.

There are many methods of controlling the ionosphere. It is the process of artificially manipulating ion density in the ionosphere. High power transmitter and antenna array operating in the HF(High Frequency) range is one of the methods. There are lots of literature on that in the Internet and declassified scientific research journals.

However, the recent trend is in using super conductors in space satellites to generate intense high intensity electromagnetic flux.

Pretty bizarre eh? well, there’s more:

Weather manipulation warfare from outerspace

Weather manipulation warfare is taking a new sophistication. Researchers are planning use the space to manipulate the weather of the earth. Measures and counter measures mark the advanced war games that are being played.

The technology involves manipulation of the ionosphere. The advanced techniques involve application of artificial electromagnetic field intensities. For example a cyclone can be created by these methods but the challenge lies in guiding the cyclone or typhoon to the adversary’s infrastructure in the warfare. For that, scientists are using defection shields by which solar flares can be deflected at the eye of the cyclone and drag it in the desired path.

Artificial manipulation of ionosphere can create massive cyclones and typhoons. But the mare use of ionosphere can only create the seed. The application of electromagnetic flux and creating a temperature differential is what makes a cyclone menacing.

Scientists have struggled to understand the best process of guiding the storm or manipulated weather. Many methods have been used. One of the recent methods used is bombarding neutrinos at the center of the eye of the cyclone or typhoon. Electromagnetic guiding of the cyclone is gaining ground.

The counter measures adopted by the countries against covert weather manipulation warfare are also remarkable but are still in its infancy. One counter measure as opted by some countries is the application of artificial electromagnetic flux from the outer space to neutralize the deflected solar flares in the eye of the storm.

Eventually it will be weather manipulation warfare from the outer space. The satellite is being used now. But space agencies in the world are planning to bring in asteroids closer to earth, control them with bombarding projectiles and use them as landing base for weather manipulation infrastructure.

If an asteroid can be used for hosting the solar flare deflectors, artificial manipulation of earth’s ionospheres and magnetosphere and creation and application of targeted pinpointed electromagnetic flux, the storms can be accurately controlled and de-controlled.

The challenge finally lies into the hands of pace agencies; they are the one who will be responsible for weather manipulation and creation of nuclear shields.

I killed a squirrel this morning.  I cried all the way to work.  I saw it dash out into the street and race across the road and I put on the brakes and tried to avoid hitting it but I heard that teltale thump and saw a cloud of dust in my rear view mirror, and I knew I killed it.

I really hate how I am feeling right now because all I can think about is how small it is and how big and tough a car is, and how its little life was snuffed out just like that….  I know a lot of people dont give squirrels or other animals a moment’s thought.  Im not one of those people.  I saw my own kitty get run over as a friend of mine was leaving my driveway.  He was an old cat, half blind, and probably deaf, and had napped under the car while she visited.  He writhed around and around and I was so helpless, I couldnt do anything for him.  I ran across the street to my neighbor’s house (not the effing neighbor) to ask him to bring his gun to put my cat out of his misery.  As it was, I think he was already dead when my neighbor’s husband came.

An image like that is burned into your brain and you never get over it.  I can never pass road kill without a pang of pain for that poor animal’s suffering.   People drive too fast (me too) and are so thoughtless about the life they snuff out.  Im gonna slow down for sure.

Poor little squirrel, Im praying for you, wherever you are, and Im very sorry.  I hope you didnt suffer. 😦

I wanna rule the world too! (or not…)

A friend of mine plays Sim City. I think this is a cool idea, really (tho, I dont have the game and probably never will). I mean, from what she says, the features you put into your city have real-world ramifications. And there’s things most people don’t think about, like taxes. And, Im assuming, other features of Government that most folks don’t take into consideration. I didnt appreciate the finer points of Government either until I was in my 30’s…so, yeah, thats pretty cool. And the decision whether or not to have an industrial site, knowing that its gonna wreck the environment, but without it there might not be any jobs (or taxes to the city). I know Governments are all about $$$$$$$$. They could care less about the environment. Me, Im big on environment. I think I would try to find another way to generate dollars…

so let me think, what other was of producing income are there? Tourism? nope, too seasonal. Malls? nope, have to have a way to make money before you can spend it…Hotels, Motels? maybe….Grocery stores? well you need those so I would put one in anyway. I’m kinda stumped…I can only think of one type of business that produces income with a minimal effect on the environment, CASINOS! oh sure, there’s parking issues and whatnot, but overall, I cant think of a business that brings in a steady stream of customers with a relatively minimal effect on the environment.

Of course, the downside is, my town would be a small town. I mean, there’s only so many casino jobs…so everyone living in my town not working at the Casino (or the grocery store) would probably have to commute to my friend’s town. I just hope its not too far away!

ARRGH! Enuff already!

when I was coming home from work yesterday, I saw yet another plume of smoke rising up into the sky. Here we go again, I thought. To make matters worse, the fire apparently knocked out phone service as well. Nobody had any land lines or cell service for most of the day. That meant no computer either (ACK!). Well, all I can say is, I cant wait for the winter rains to end this madness. Out of curiosity, I looked up the latest stats on the Butte Lightning Complex fire:

Good Grief 😦

here is a link to a blog: http://yubanet.com/blog/blogs/blog7.php

apparently, according to the Public Safety Scanner site I visited, an arsonist (perhaps the same one that started the Humboldt fire) may be responsible for the latest fire. Sicko. I hope they catch this ASSHOLE and burn him alive.

WARNING: MATURE SUBJECT MATTER (sort of)

I had an AHA moment this evening. An Epiphany. A revelation. Bonked on the head with the GOTCHA! wand. I was in the bathroom (where many of my AHA moments occur if you must know!), thinking about the sorry assed excuses for husbands/boyfriends/playthings I have known over the years…..and how, without exception I gave 200% to each and every one of them. Yet, they all tanked (well, there’s one or two still keeping me busy….) There wasnt a sexual fantasy I wouldnt indulge, a culinary request I wouldnt honor, the home was clean, the bills were paid, and I treated them all like Kings. There was just one problem–I apparently didnt know my place. If I thought something was wrong, I said so. And said so, and said so…….. unless or until the problem (whatever it was) was fixed. Most of my relationships as a result were pretty wild. So, these poor men, they were between a rock and a hard place. They stayed for the sex, but man, they sure hated my bitching! What they didnt realize was that I drew from the same well of energy for both the nagging and the shagging!

I didnt realize it either until just now. I am, and always have been very intense, like a coiled spring, like a controlled tornado. Oh sure, Im a bit more sedate at this point of my life, but I can still call upon that energy at a moments notice…and sometimes it comes upon me unawares…and I have to ride out the storm. So anyway, like I said, Im intense. I always knew that. But what Im just now absorbing is that very very few people in this universe can handle that kind of energy. Im told I exhaust people, sap their strength, because I just keep going and going long after they’ve waved that white flag. (Bunch of whiners!)

I dont know why Im this way, but Im beginning to change how I see myself. I used to think that I needed to be more like everyone else, fit in, blend…..now, I think Im glad for my difference, because the truth is, my relationships didnt fizzle because I wasnt woman enough, they fizzled because I was TOO MUCH WOMAN for the men I knew. Its gonna take a very special man to tame me, Im here ta tell ya. One with SPIRIT! One who is secure enough in his own skin to appreciate me being ME. One who can embrace the wildness with me.

Kind of like these two:
